Our Programs - Youth Development
CRJ believes the process of Youth Development is critical to the successful transition of youth into adults who function and contribute in daily life. CRJ defines Youth Development as the process all young people undergo in the development of life skills and competencies in an attempt to meet their basic personal and social needs.
Youth Development Goals:
- Create new peer-to-peer activities in our Shoplifting Prevention Program.
- Create new leadership roles for youth to become partners in our organization and not just participants of our programs.
- Provide volunteer services opportunities that will help youth connect, learn new skills, and understand and value their communities.
- Nurture, cultivate, and recognize the many talents of our program youth through creative expression.
